Coming to Church for the first time in a while, can be daunting, but here are some hints to help you understand what is going on.
Wear clothes that are comfortable, suits are only for weddings and funerals. Neat and tidy is just fine for Sunday worship and baptisms.
We use a Prayer book and a Hymn book for Sunday services. The responses, ( the bits you say,) are in bold type. We stand and sit at different times through the service, just do what the other people are doing. We stand for the Gospel reading and the hymns. We have a collection.
The kids are fine wandering around, as long as they are not going to hurt themselves.
Be at peace, and expect an encounter with God.
